SYDNEY, September 02 2021 - Dynabook ANZ., (formerly Toshiba Client Solutions), today announced its Windows 11 plans for customers and channel partners.

Dynabook will begin offering its Portégé®, Tecra®, Satellite Pro™ laptop families with Windows 11 pre-installed in the last quarter of 2021. The company will continue to ship laptops with Windows 10 for business customers needing time to prepare for the new operating system. Dynabook’s current Windows 10 laptops all meet the Microsoft Windows 11 system requirements and are eligible for the free upgrade when available.

Dynabook Delivers Next-Generation Tecra Laptops

June 24, 2021 - Dynabook ANZ, today announced the next generation of its Tecra® A-Series laptops with the 14.0” Tecra A40-J and 15.6” Tecra A50-J. Formerly known as Toshiba, Dynabook completely redesigned these new laptops to address the needs of the modern, flexible worker while reducing the strain on IT managers.

The Tecra A40-J and A50-J are both packed with performance-enhancing features so users can get the job done fast. In addition to high-powered 28W variants of the latest 11th Gen Intel® Core™ processors, a selection of memory and storage capabilities are available, including up to 32GB of RAM on 2x SO-DIMM DDR4 3200 and up to 1TB of SSD storage. Moreover, Intel® Iris® Xe powered graphics technology boosts performance further, complemented by new quiet dual-fan cooling technology. The duo also delivers impressive battery life, up to 9.38 hours for the A40-J and 10.4 hours for the A50-J. A quick charge function provides 40 percent battery life in just 30 minutes of charge time.

With mobility at its core, the Tecra A40-J weighs from 1.45kg* and boasts a large non-glare 14.0” HD or FHD screen in an 18.9mm footprint. While the 15.6” option is now 20 per cent lighter and 17 per cent smaller than its predecessor. The Tecra A50-J also offers a larger screen in a 19.9mm thin package and weighs from 1.65kg, making it suitable for the modern hybrid user.

Reliable, secure, and easy to manage, this lightweight and stylish duo are the latest addition to Dynabook’s well-established Tecra product range. The Tecra A40-J is priced from AUD, $1250/NZ$1369 including GST whilst the A50-J will start from AUD$1199/NZ$1320 including GST.

The pair features a slim-bezel design and an easy-to-open hinge for quick start-up and ergonomic working throughout the day. The screen of each device can also be folded flat to 180 degrees for easy document sharing. The 14.0” Tecra A40-J offers touchscreen options for further usability. At the same time, a large and lowered backlit keyboard with an optional SecurePad on both devices enables comfortable, all-day typing. The Tecra A50-J is also equipped with a numeric keypad which is perfect for those working all day on numbers.

Both laptops feature a new sleek and stylish Mystic Blue chassis with a distinctive wave detail on the lid however the Tecra A50-J also incorporates an antimicrobial paint additive called IONPURE® IPL*** to inhibit the growth of bacteria.

Each device has been carefully engineered to address the security and manageability challenges posed by the accelerated shift towards flexible working patterns. Thanks to Dynabook’s in-house BIOS with extensive security features, Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0, enterprise-grade encryption and optional Windows Hello fingerprint and face authentication, both devices protect users against data, device and identify threats.

The new Tecra duo gives users an abundance of tools for a productive and collaborative working day, no matter where the location. An HD camera with a privacy shutter, Cortana-enabled dual noise-suppressing microphones and quality stereo speakers with DTS audio processing all combine to enable a seamless video or audio conferencing experience.

Both devices offer all the connections a workforce needs to plug into their environment and the wider world. Two Thunderbolt 4 enabled USB-C ports to allow users to connect to modern accessories, docks, up to four external monitors and provide fast charging or data transfer with a single cable connection.

Designed and built at Dynabook’s in-house research and development centres, all elements of Tecra A40-J and A50-J have been engineered to last. Each lightweight chassis has been rigorously tested in accordance with the newest MIL-STD-810H standards to endure any working environment through temperature, humidity, vibration as well as drop and shock testing. Highly Accelerated Life Test (HALT) and other stress tests are also conducted across the hinge, keyboard and ports of these laptops to deliver the perfect blend of rigidity and flexibility within these lightweight designs. A spill-resistant frameless keyboard provides further protection against potential liquid damage.

Dynabook introduces affordable Satellite Pro range with new C40 and C50 models

SYDNEY, Australia, – 4th February, 2021 - Dynabook ANZ Pty Limited., today announces two new Satellite Pro ranges – the new 14.0” C40-H, which expertly combines affordability and mobility, and the 15.6” C50-H model. Both devices offer users all the tools for a productive work or study day in an easily portable package, without draining the IT budget. The C40-H has been designed with pure mobility and style in mind.
