How to connect to my 3G network

Some new Toshiba notebook computers now have a 3G modem built-in. You may use this guide to configure and connect to your 3G network.

Instructions on how to install the SIM can be found in your Wireless WAN guide included in the box when you purchased your computer.

Please note: This only applies to Toshiba notebook computers with a 3G modem built-in. If you’re not sure if your computer supports this you may check here at www.mytoshiba.com.au/products.

Further Troubleshooting

My SIM card isn’t recognized or my computer cannot detect the 3G network.

There are three pieces of software that need to be installed for this service to work:

1. 3G Wireless Driver

2. Toshiba Wireless Manager or MobiLink

3. 3G RF Power Control Utility

These should be installed in the order listed above.
