How do I set up my email accounts in Windows 7?

Windows 7 utilizes a program called “Windows Live Mail” for emails. This can be downloaded from the Microsoft site here.

Once this is downloaded and installed follow the instructions below to set up your email account.

1. Click on Start.

2. Select All Programs

3. Select Windows Live

4. Select Windows Live Mail

5. Select Add email account.

6. Enter in your Email address, password and your display name; select Next.

7. For POP3 accounts enter your incoming server address, login ID and your outgoing server address; select Next.

8. Select Finish.

Your email accounts will now synchronize. If this is the first time you’ve set this up, please allow some time for the folders to be synchronized.
