IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Toshiba Announces
Voluntary Replacement Program for AC Power Cords on Certain Notebook
PCs
On November 25, 2014,
Toshiba Europe GmbH (“Toshiba”) announced a voluntary replacement
program of AC power cords sold with certain Toshiba notebook
computers manufactured and/or replaced in the course of a
repair. At the moment, it cannot be excluded that individual
potentially affected AC power cords may pose a potential overheating
and fire risk.
Toshiba is offering a replacement for potentially affected AC power
cords at no cost.
AC power cords subject to this voluntary replacement program are
marked with “LS-15” on the portion of the cord that plugs into the
power brick and fall within a limited production timeframe which can be
identified by the notebook’s serial number. Please see the photo below
illustrating the location of the “LS-15” marking.
AC power cords that do not bear the “LS-15” marking are not subject to this replacement program.
To learn whether your PC shipped with an AC power cord or your replaced
AC power cord is subject to this voluntary replacement program,
please visit the following Toshiba website
https://extranet.toshiba-tro.de/en-us/acreplacement.aspx

battery power.
