Toshiba grows its Tablet family

Sydney, AUSTRALIA – Thursday 14th June 2012. High performance, ultra-thin and light design plus a choice of screen sizes are some of the features of Toshiba’s latest range of tablets launched today by Toshiba (Australia) Pty Ltd.

“Available in three screen sizes – 7.7” (AT270), 10.1” (AT300) and 13.3” (AT330), the stylish line-up of new Android™ powered tablets offers a choice for consumers depending on their style for viewing content,” said Justin White, Product Marketing Manager, Toshiba (Australia) Pty Ltd.

In a first for Toshiba, consumers can now experience vibrant viewing with an AMOLED (Active-Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode) Tablet screen. The super slim 7.7” pocket-sized AT270 brings games, movies and photos to life in the palm of your hand, providing a vivid viewing experience on the go.

The mid-sized screen of the 10.1” (AT300) tablet is ideal for typing, making it a good choice for users who want to be productive in the office, while on the move or when working from home.

Completing the new line-up is the AT330. Featuring a larger 13.3” screen, it’s the perfect coffee table accompaniment, ideal for viewing content like reading and watching movies, as well as being productive on the go.

The new range of tablets features the Android™ 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) platform, with vibrant, high quality displays, quad-core performance, plus a range of essential ports and smart features.

Super thin at just 7.85mm and weighing only 350 grams the 7.7” pocket-sized tablet features a vibrant, backlit HD widescreen.

“The intuitive touch screen experience is optimised with Immersion Haptics Feedback allowing consumers to choose how strongly or softly they want to navigate content,” Mr White said.

Sharing content is easy with the built-in Micro-USB and Micro-SD port and it also connects to other devices with Wi-Fi™ WPS and Bluetooth connectivity.

Proving amazing things come in small packages, the AT270 is powered by the NVIDIA® Tegra™ Quad‐Core processor and 1GB of RAM for faster browsing and the ability to multi‐task with ease.
